Bracken House is a traditional old farmhouse set in beautiful, peaceful, rural countryside at the foot of the Mourne Mountains and within close proximity to the seaside. It has been tastefully decorated to a high standard and is fully equipped with everything you would need for to make your holiday enjoyable. Bracken house was originally built in the late 1800’s and has been recently tastefully renovated keeping many of the original features. It is a spacious comfortable two storey 3 bedroom house, sleeping 6 people in one King-size bedroom, one double, and one twin. There is a large family bathroom upstairs and a separate downstairs toilet. A large modern kitchen diner is fully equipped with large cooker, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, kettle and toaster.
Enjoy the view of the Mournes and the sea from the enclosed garden, or explore the mountains yourself on one of the amazing mountain walks or gentle hill climbs. The quaint fishing village and historic corn mill at Annalong are only a 5 minute drive away, while the colourful seaside town of Newcastle is only 8 miles up the coast.
